Proprietary Hollow Fibers Optimize Blood Flow and Gas Exchange

  • More fiber in a given space allows for increased blood contact.
  • The blood flow path is optimized to evenly disperse blood throughout the fibers.
  • More blood-to-fiber contact results in more gas transfer than required for an oxygenator with 8 L/min flow.
  • To optimize the gas transfer for an 8 L/min oxy the fiber surface area is reduced.

Very low prime volume and high gas exchange oxygenator that flows up to 8 L/min.
