EVH Basics: Equipment, Ultrasound and Dissection

Afsar Aliar currently leads a team of four Cardiothoracic Surgical Care Practitioners (SCPs) at the Manchester University Hospital, United Kingdom, and was one of the first practitioners in the United Kingdom to perform Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH). Over the last 16 years he has completed more than 1,000 EVH cases. Afsar not only teaches this technique at other centers throughout the United Kingdom, but he is also an international proctor for Terumo, that travels across the globe to teach and train at many other institutes.
