EVH: From the Trainee Perspective

Donna Croft is a Senior Cardiothoracic Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Lancashire, United Kingdom. After completing her adult nursing diploma at the University of Central Lancashire, she went on to complete her degree in Nursing Practice. In 2015, Donna trained as a Cardiothoracic SCP, completing her Master’s degree two years later at Edge Hill University. Donna has worked in Cardiovascular surgery for more than 13 years and first started performing Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) in 2015. Since then, Donna has completed more than 600 cases and has been actively involved in the teaching of consultant surgeons, registrars, and other SCPs in her local trust and worldwide.
